Wooden Angel is a spin-off band from Bordertown, created when B-town members David Beldock and Cici Porter asked Wayne Nelson of Little River Band to play bass and sing with them. His acceptance was the emotional equivalent, Cici and David agreed, of having the date of your dreams say yes to your invitation to the prom. Yay. Then add to that Cici's husband, film & TV composer Larry Groupe on keyboards and jazz monster Duncan Moore on drums and you've got this. Bliss. Perhaps it was too good to last, cuz the band broke up right after this album was born. Wayne went back on the road with LRB, and that was that with that. Collector's item. Fun.
